Take The Green Pill

01The condition

Most men were
never taught
how to become men

Many Muslim men are navigating conditions that leave them informed but underdeveloped: exposed to argument, starved of formation.

The answer is not another masculine persona.

It is formation

  1. 01contradictory messages about masculinity
  2. 02weak Islamic formation
  3. 03uncertainty regarding marriage and qiwāmah
  4. 04lack of meaningful male mentorship
  5. 05lack of accountability
  6. 06poor boundaries
  7. 07physical and personal neglect
  8. 08isolation
  9. 09a culture that often substitutes discourse for development

02The Green Pill approach

Form,
not
performance

Green Pill development integrates several domains. Masculinity here is not an autonomous ideology or a performance of dominance. It is formation grounded in Islām.

  1. 01Domain

    Dīn

Islamic foundations establish the frame through which everything else is understood.

Green Pill coaching session — first exposure to the framework
Outdoor discussion — learning together in suhbah
Looking toward the Green Dome in Madinah
  2. 02Domain

    Character

Discipline, congruence, adab, responsibility and the ability to act according to principle.

Shared effort outdoors — character forged in struggle
Walking the path together through the forest
Community talk — Green Pill introduced in public
  3. 03Domain

    Competence

A man should become increasingly capable in the practical domains entrusted to him.

Mace and club training — mastery embodied outdoors
Outdoor sparring — competence taken into the body
Boxing training — discipline taken into the body
  4. 04Domain

    Qiwāmah

Leadership begins with responsibility: learning to lead oneself before expecting to lead a household.

Outdoor mentorship circle with young men
    Fahim Faruq speaking in conversation
Facing the niche — composure before responsibility
  5. 05Domain

    Brotherhood

Serious development is easier in the company of men committed to accountability and growth.

Suhbah — greeting a brother after gathering
Brothers together at night in Madinah
Training partners — suhbah in the gym

03The development pathway

A school you
can grow through

The Green Pill School is a long-term environment, not merely a video course. Membership can scale upward or downward depending on need, competence, available time, resources and desired coaching intensity.

  1. 01Level

    Exposure

Encounter the principles, language and standards that frame Green Pill development.

  2. 02Level

    Understanding

Move from familiarity to clarity through curriculum, discussion and evaluation.

  3. 03Level

    Mastery

Internalise material until it shapes judgement, habit and conduct.

  4. 04Level

    Personalised development

Apply the framework to your circumstances with increasing precision.

  5. 05Level

    Long-term suhbah + accountability

Remain in serious companionship where growth is sustained over years, not weeks.

The Green Pill Coach

Fahim’s work with Muslim men developed from mentoring and men’s development work beginning around 2012. What began as small-group coaching eventually developed into Focus-180 and later The Green Pill School.

His work focuses on helping Muslim men integrate traditional Islamic principles with the practical demands of marriage, leadership, personal development, relationships, health and modern life.

He is authorised by ijāzah to teach the farḍ al-ʿayn, Umm al-Barāhīn, and to transmit — with brief commentary — the Shamāʾil al-Muḥammadiyyah. He continues structured study of the Forty Ḥadīth of Imām al-Nawawī, Qāḍī ʿIyāḍ’s al-Shifāʾ with the sharḥ of Mullā ʿAlī al-Qārī, and Arabic with Shaykh Yāsir Ayyūb.

The Green Pill is deliberately distinct from both progressive reinterpretations of gender and secular “red pill” masculinity. Its reference point is Islām. Confidence and masculine development remain grounded in servitude to Allah and following the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, not ego or masculine theatrics.

Long-term value

Why men stay

The School is built for sustained formation, not a short burst of motivation.

  1. 01FeedbackOutside perspective exposes blind spots and accelerates growth that internal effort alone may not produce.
  2. 02AccountabilityUnderstanding should translate into action.
  3. 03SuhbahLong-term companionship with men pursuing serious development shapes who a man becomes.
  4. 04Continued exposureImportant principles must be revisited until they become integrated into character.
  5. 05AdaptabilityMembership can evolve as a man's needs, circumstances, competence and capacity change.

07Fit

Who this
is for

A mature filter, not a sales pitch.

The School may be for you if

  • you are a Muslim man who takes his Dīn seriously
  • you want more structure and accountability
  • you want clearer foundations around masculinity, marriage and qiwāmah
  • you value honest feedback
  • you are willing to implement rather than merely consume information
  • you want serious male companionship

  • you are only looking for entertaining online discourse
  • you want instant fixes
  • you are unwilling to accept feedback
  • you want masculinity separated from Islam
  • you are primarily interested in resentment or gender-war content
  • you expect Fahim or the community to do the work for you
